Trucks are a tool for the heavy lifting and larger than life projects, but the all new 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz is breaking that mold. As a utility sport vehicle with a truck bed that resembles the Santa Fe Crossover, this pickup truck is for the adventure enthusiasts who want the ability to transport their gear, but with comfort and style in mind.
Under the code name NX4 OB, this truck is already undergoing test drives and safety precaution tests. The Cruz’s body style will be similar to a traditional pickup truck, but much smaller. It will offer four doors with seating for five, and assumed towing power that will compete with the Santa Fe. Although we don’t know that for sure, and there are no specifications at this time.
Hyundai released the concept for this truck in 2015 at the Detroit Auto Show. We are finally receiving confirmation from Hyundai that the Santa Cruz will be making its way to production soon. Hyundai will unveil the all new 2022 Santa Cruz in the later part of 2021.They are currently making space at their Alabama plant for two new vehicles to be in the supply lines sometime soon.
