Technology

An infotainment touchscreen upgrade sits in the middle console at 10.3 inches while the widely loved solar roof that was available on the Sonata Hybrid Limited has been upgraded by a panoramic sunroof. With the Convenience package, SEL Plus, and Limited models, a 12.3 inch digital gauge cluster is optional. Hyundai has a new Digital Key feature, piece de resistance which can be controlled via Hyundai’s app to unlock your car as well as operate certain functions. That means no more worrying about whether or not you remembered to grab your key fob and/or keys.

Safety

Carrying over the standard Hyundai SmartSense package full of driver-assistance features remains the same. This package includes automatic high-beam assist, adaptive cruise control, ability to pull in and out of a parking space WHILE you wait outside the vehicle, and a driver-attention warning that can sense drowsy or distracted driving.

The Interior

Drivers will also be pleased to hear that some exciting new features will be introduced in the 2023 Palisade. Upgrades include the Ergo Motion Driver’s Seat which automatically massages your back during long drives to reduce fatigue. Anything not related to safety will use a touch interface. So that’s how we balance that out—that’s how we actually do the hierarchies,” said SangYup Lee, Head of Hyundai Design.
